Sixty Days until
Groundbreaking! On June 1,
2010, at 11:00 a.m., St. Francis will break ground
and celebrate the much anticipated construction of
this new facility for generations of Spartans to
enjoy. All donors to the capital
campaign will receive a ticket along with their
formal invitation in the mail to the ground
breaking ceremony. This ticket will afford
the opportunity to have a picture taken turning a
shovel of dirt after the formal ceremony.
The St. Francis Alumni Association will then place
the picture in a frame and mail to you to forever
show your presence on this historic
day. We are preparing to print the
commemorative Ground Breaking booklet that will
forever mark a day that changed the future of
St.FrancisHigh School. Please return your
Letter of Intent with your investment in the
Completing the Dream capital campaign or go to the
school website and make your gift
electronically. In order to be included in
the booklet, we must receive your gift prior to
May 10, 2010. If everyone helps in
the most generous way they can, we will be
successful in reaching our $2 million dollar goal.
The Letter of Intent not only communicates your
financial support of the campaign, it also serves
as collateral to assist in securing bridge
financing during construction. If you
need another copy of the Letter of Intent or would
like to make your gift online, go to
www.sfhs.org to obtain the materials you need.
We appreciate your
generosity! Should you have any
questions regarding construction, the building or
the campaign, please contact Tom Bednar, President
of St. Francis High School at 630-668-5800
x1102.
