Library Resources Donation Program
Begins February 1, 2009

As part of this year's theme, St Francis High School: St. Francis Where Everybody Knows Your Name, the Library is sponsoring a Library Resources Donation Program that provides parents, teachers, school clubs, teams, organizations and local businesses with a way to permanently honor an individual, a team or the entire class of 2009. The donated books, videos and audio resources will become part of the SFHS Library collection and available for use by all current and future students.

The program runs from February 1, 2009 through August 1, 2009. During this time, those wishing to participate are invited to visit the SFHS website and choose an item from the Library Resources Donation Wish List. All purchases are tax-deductible and may be eligible for employer gift-matching programs.

Each donated item will be affixed with a Commemorative Bookplate that was designed by senior, Carissa Saia as part of this year's Senior Bookplate Design Competition. In the fall, all seniors were invited to submit an original design for a bookplate that would exemplify their pride and commitment to the St. Francis community. Carissa's winning design will also be matted and framed for permanent display in the St. Francis library alongside past winners.

Cheerleaders Host Clinic
