Parents'
Organization WE NEED YOUR
HELP!!!!! The Parents'
Organization is looking for one or more
persons to step forward to chair or co-chair
Market Day. A Market Day is hosted once a
month and all proceeds go directly to the
sport or club that is the sponsor for
that month. So please, let's not lose this
opportunity for our students to raise money for
own their teams and clubs! For more
information please contact Carol Leyden at
630-790-0394 or carolleyden@hotmail.com. We
are also in need of one or more persons to chair
or co-chair our Volunteer Database. This
position is primarily completed in the beginning
of the school year and done from home. The
master worksheet, all on Excel, is saved from year
to year. It takes only a few hours when the
sheets are first turned in from the volunteers,
and then only an hour a week for a few weeks as
the remaining sheets come in. It is an
important job, however, it is not too time
consuming and can be shared by more than one
person. Please contact Crystal Baker for more
information at 630-730-8309 or bakermom615@aol.com. Last,
but certainly not least is Volunteer
Coordinator. This also may be chaired by more
than one person. This position involves
calling and or emailing volunteers throughout the
school year for various events. This
position is done from home as well, and is also a
great way to become more familiar with our parents
and teachers. Please contact Crystal Baker for
more information at 630-730-8309 or bakermom615@aol.com.
I hope that you will look at these
opportunities to become more involved at St.
Francis. Call a friend and do it together! I
promise you will not be sorry you did. We
are a great organization, and fun to be
with. You will meet new people and forge new
friendships. No matter how large or small,
all of our committees are equally important
to the success of the Parents'
Organization. I look forward to hearing from
you! Have a safe and restful
summer, Crystal Baker Parents'
Organization President |

Uniform
Resale provides Financial
Assistance
It's
a two-fer!!!! By donating uniforms you can
no longer use, you declutter your closets and help
provide financial assistance for a student.
Last school year's donations provided assistance
for five St. Francis families! We will
accept clean, gently used uniforms that you have
either outgrown, never used, or just won't need in
college. Collection bins will be located in the
hallways through June 11th. The uniform
resale will be held during the book test on July
6th. For questions, please contact Gail
Talley, 815-439-8278, gntalley@msn.com.
