Five members of our football team will participate in the Wheaton Challenge Corn Eating Contest vs. Glenbard South and Wheaton Academy on Wed. June 3rd at 7:30pm at the corner of Hale & Liberty in downtown Wheaton. Come and cheer on our school for the town bragging rights. Students participating are John Giovenco, Wes Herwaldt, Joe Pfeiffer, Nick Pfeiffer and Collin Marshall.

Miss Illinois Teen USA 2009 Needs Escort for
Winfield Good Old Days!

 

The Winfield Chamber of Commerce is going to welcome - for the first time ever! - the reigning Miss Illinois Teen USA, Stacie Juris, to Winfield's Good Old Days Festival on Saturday, September 12th. Find out more about Stacie, an 18-year-old senior at Lincoln  Way East High School and resident of Tinley Park, by visiting www.missillinoisusa.com
  
The Chamber is now in search of a male student and resident of Winfield, either an upperclassman at a high school or college freshman, to be her official escort during the four hours she will be our special guest that day.

Summer Book Fair to Benefit St. Francis

Barnes & Noble was unable to sponsor a Summer Book Fair. However, The Bookstore in Glen Ellyn has graciously and generously offered to support  the SFHS community with a program for not only the Summer Book titles, but for any other items purchased with the coupon.

Driver Education Offered at St. Francis

Top Driver, the nation's leading driving school, will begin teaching driver education in July at St. FrancisHigh School.  The class will run on Mondays-Thursdays from July 6th to July 29th at 10:00 am-12:00 pm in the school.  All students must be 15 years of age to enroll.  If you would like to enroll or have questions, please call at 800-374-8373 or visit Top Driver online at http://www.topdriver.com/locations/ stfrancishighschool/overview.aspx
 
 
Uniform Resale

 
Donate your outgrown or unused uniforms to support a great cause. All proceeds from the sale will provide financial aid for current St. Francis students.

Uniforms will be collected in designated bins in hallways
and the school office starting May 11th thru June 15th. Shop at the uniform resale July 1st during summer reading book test.

Transportation Reimbursement Forms are Available

Transportation Reimbursement Forms are in the Main Office
The 2008-2009 Transportation Reimbursement forms are available in the Main Office from February 1, 2009 until June 30, 2009.  Parent's need to come into the office to sign-up.  Instructions for calculating your claim amount are available on our website and will be included with your student's third quarter progress report.
