The Robinson Family
Learning Resource Center St. Francis
High School has much to celebrate as it prepares
to break ground for the new Science Suite and
Learning Resource Center on June 1, 2010. John and
Cindy Robinson, parents of two alumni, two current
students and three future Spartans have made a
substantial gift to the school. The Learning
Resource Center will be named in their
honor. "We have been very blessed
with the education our children have received at
St. Francis," said John Robinson, who went on to
say, "We are humbled to have the opportunity to
have our family name on the new
LearningResourceCenter. We are thankful for being
able to be a part of this important stage of
growth in the school's history. St. Francis
depends on the support of all of
us." John's wife Cindy added, "As we
considered our investment, we thought not only
about our own seven children, but of our future
grandchildren and all of their friends who will be
able to benefit from this new
facility." The new Science Suite and
Learning Resource Center will fulfill two key
areas of the vision for St.FrancisHigh School. The
construction will result in 20,000 gross square
feet of additional space. The new Learning
Resource Center is twice the size of the current
library. Located on the main level, the Learning
Resource Center will include a 28-seat teaching
classroom, a 28-seat study hall and a 42-seat
smart classroom among the
amenities. The Robinson Family
Learning Resource Center will give our teachers
and students a first-class facility in which to
engage and learn. John and Cindy are truly special
people and an important part of the St. Francis
family. Their generosity helps keep our school
more affordable for all students and
families. Construction of the new
facility is scheduled to be completed in time to
welcome students in the fall of
2011.

Make Your Gift
Today! We are a month away
from the Ground breaking ceremony! This is an
opportunity to celebrate the generosity of the St.
Francis community. There is still time (and the
need) to make a financial gift and help complete
the dream. Please return your Letter
of Intent with your investment in the Completing
the Dream capital campaign. If everyone helps in
the most generous way they can, we will be
successful in reaching our goal. The Letter of
Intent not only communicates your financial
support of the campaign, it also serves as
collateral to assist in securing bridge financing
during construction. If you need
another copy of the Letter of Intent or would like
to make your gift online, go to www.sfhs.org to
obtain the materials you need. We appreciate your
generosity! Should you have any
questions regarding construction, the building or
the campaign, please contact Tom Bednar, President
of St. Francis High School at 630-668-5800
x1102.
