Quote of the Week: "I don't know what your
destiny will be, but one thing I do know: the only
ones among you who will be really happy are those
who have sought and found how to
serve." ~ Albert
Schweitzer
Congrats and Good Luck to Freshman
Gymnast Kevin Purdom who qualified for STATE this
weekend in all-around, parallel bars, high bar,
vault, floor and pommel horse. He will be
competing in the individual events, and all around
competition on Saturday May 14th at Lincoln Way
East in Frankfort. Preliminary competition begins
at 11:30am. Top 10 gymnasts in each event will
move on to compete in the finals at 6:30pm that
evening.Good Luck Kevin!!
Thanks to all who supported the Boys'
Volleyball "Feed the Need" food drive. The
People's Resource Center was overwhelmed with
gratitude for all the food that was donated. What
a great thing to witness two communities coming
together to help those less unfortunate.
Tomorrow we will pack food for Feed
My Starving Children to send to those in
Haiti. Once again we are so lucky to be a
part of such a wonderful, caring community.
Reminder, all workers need to wear close toed
shoes.
Good Luck to the Class of 2010 as they
graduate this weekend. Good luck to the Juniors,
Sophomores and Freshmen as they prepare for finals
week.
Go Spartans!

Uniform
Resale provides Financial
Assistance
It's
a two-fer!!!! By donating uniforms you can
no longer use, you declutter your closets and help
provide financial assistance for a student.
Last school year's donations provided assistance
for five St. Francis families! Beginning on
May 10th we will accept clean, gently used
uniforms that you have either outgrown, never
used, or just won't need in college. Collection
bins will be located in the hallways through June
11th. The uniform resale will be held during
the book test on July 6th. For questions,
please contact Gail Talley,
