The Student Directory is provided as a service to
our school families. We encourage the use of this directory as a
means to communicate with other St. Francis parents. The
safety of our students and the ability to develop good
decision-making habits is directly dependent on parental knowledge
and involvement. All parents are encouraged to contact any home to
verify social arrangements.
We at St. Francis respect your privacy and do not
tolerate spam. We will never sell, rent, lease or give away your
information (name, address, email, etc.) to any third party. Please
remember that this directory is not to be used as a mailing list.
All school families will receive ONE student
directory. Orders for additional directories have been processed.
The Student Directory will be sent home with your child on Friday,
September 16th.

Note
from the Principal
During the past
week, students received their UserNames and Passwords for the Student
Portal module of STI InformationNOW, our student management database
system. Parent/Guardian UserNames and Passwords will be reset within
the next day or two and new UserNames and Passwords will be mailed
during the week of September 6th. After you receive your logon
information and instructions in the mail, if you have any difficulty
logging on to the Parent Portal, please send an e-mail to portalhelp@sfhsnet.org.
Additional information is also available via links on the St. Francis
website - including a 15-minute STI training video that discusses all
of the features of this home portal http://support.sti-k12.com/documentation/tutorials/ViewVideoTutorials.asp?getvideoid=82 as
well as additional STI InformationNOW Parent Portal Quick Reference
Guides.
Due to the
extreme heat and humidity forecasted for tomorrow, Friday, September
2, St. Francis High School will follow the PM Assembly
Schedule. This schedule allows for dismissal at 1:11 p.m. We
hope you will enjoy a safe and fun-filled Labor Day Weekend.

Notes from the Nurse
Keeping our students healthy is the
responsibility of all. Students who are home ill with fever should
remain home until fever free without the use of fever reducing
medications (Tylenol, Advil, and Aleve) for 24 hours. Please do not
send your student to school with a fever!
Remind your student to wash their
hands or use handsantizer frequently while at school, cough or sneeze
in the sleeves and not to share drinks or eating utensils.
Talk to your healthcare provider
about the flu vaccine for yourself and your student. |
