The Sisters of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wheaton , Illinois , have asked us to help publicize their Loretto Gala which will help support their infirm and retired Sisters, the ministries of the Sisters in education, retreat work, spiritual direction, and work among the poor, disadvantaged and homeless. Many of the IBVM sisters graduated from or worked at SFHS during the 60's.
Music is in the air! Chase away your blues with the Sisters of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary as they celebrate “Sounds of Music” at the Loretto Gala, Sunday, July 25, 2010 , at Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace , Illinois . Jazz up your day in the fun of the Silent Auction at 3:00 p.m. Enjoy a classical dinner at 5:30 p.m. and rock’n roll with the Live Auction and Raffle afterward. Tickets are $80.00 per person. A table of 10 is $750.00. Advance paid registration is required by July 10.
