ENTRANCE EXAM -

Eighth graders seeking admission into St. Francis must take the “Scholastic Testing Service” (S.T.S.) High School Placement Exam. This is a standardized test that we use to assess baseline academic performance. Exam sections include: verbal skills, cognitive skills, reading comprehension, math concepts, math problem solving (there is no algebra material on this exam) and language-grammar skills.

The entrance exam will be administered on January 14, 2012 at 8:00 AM. To complete entrance exam registration, please send us a completed and signed registration form (see link above), $35 fee (checks payable to St. Francis High School)and a copy of seventh grade report card by Monday, January 9, 2012. (Drop-off and pick-up students on west side of building in circle at door #19 or on east side of building at door #12). The exam takes about 3 1/2 hours with one 20-minute refreshment break. (Note: Calculators are not allowed.)
