2012-2013 Scholarship Information | 2012-2013 Scholarship Application Thanks to a host of generous donors, last year alone we awarded more than $120,000.00 in scholarships. Many of the students who receive scholarships would not have had the opportunity to attend St. Francis without assistance. Applications are available and are due back to us by March 10th. If you feel you qualify for more than one scholarship, then you may submit more than one application. All applications must be complete. The scholarships available are:

Top • Principal’s Academic Scholarship Criteria:
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient maintains at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and exhibits positive behavior while attending St. Francis.
Top • Kay Finn Memorial Scholarship Criteria:
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient maintains at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and exhibits positive behavior while attending St. Francis Top • Dunlea Family Scholarship Criteria:
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient remains in good standing with teachers, maintains a 2.5 GPA, and exhibits a positive attitude towards learning while attending St. Francis. Top • Jimmy Doumos Scholarship A $1,000 renewable scholarship is available for an incoming freshman that is a first generation American, or adopted from outside of the United States.Criteria:
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient remains in good standing with teachers, maintains a 3.0 GPA, and exhibits a positive attitude towards learning while attending St. Francis. This scholarship is provided by the Dunlea Family in memory of Jimmy Doumos, a St. Francis grandfather who was an immigrant to the United States and emphasized the importance of education to his children and grandchildren.

This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient is an active participant in co-curricular activities and exhibits positive behavior while attending St. Francis. Top • The Shaw Family ScholarshipA full tuition renewable scholarship, established by the Shaw Family, given to one incoming freshman. Criteria:
Top • Douglas P. Colbeth & Margaret R. Colbeth Endowed Scholarship Criteria:
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient maintains at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and exhibits positive behavior while attending St. Francis. Top • Margaret (Meg) Webb Memorial Scholarship A $2,500 renewable scholarship established by Greg Webb in memory of his sister will be given to one incoming freshman girl. Criteria:
Top • Alumni Association Scholarship Criteria:
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient maintains at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and exhibits involvement and positive behavior while attending St. Francis. Top • San Damiano Scholarship Five $2,000 renewable scholarships to be given to incoming freshmen who have demonstrated outstanding participation in 7th and 8th grade co-curricular activities. Criteria:
This scholarship may be renewed each year provided the scholarship recipient continues to be a positive participant in the St. Francis High School community. Top • The Presidential Physical Fitness Award Scholarship A $2000 renewable scholarship available for a student who has been awarded the President’s Physical Fitness Award during 6th and/or 7th grade. Top Kazma Family Scholarships - Available through the Diocese of Joliet The Kazma Family Foundation will be providing a four-year renewable scholarship to students entering any of the Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Joliet. Twenty-five students will be selected based on financial need. All incoming freshmen are encouraged to apply.
